All NASA Texas events are free entry for guests, family, crew, spectators, etc. You will be asked to sign a wavier and receive a wristband upon entry.

There is no gate at MSR Cresson so you will need to stop by the Driver
Info trailer to sign the wavier and receive the wristband.

Tire Service
DogHouse Performance will be mounting tires on Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm. Call
ahead and schedule your service if you can as they’ll be busy all weekend supporting the event. (817) 396-4211.

There ae several gas stations are near the track.
The Sunoco near the front entrance has several grades of race fuel.

HPDE

If you are interested in learning the basics of High Performance Driving, or simply want to drive your car on a racetrack in a controlled and professionally staffed environment, then NASA’s High Performance Driving Event is for you. NASA HPDE gives you a chance to test your skills and learn from NASA’s pool of experienced instructors at a venue designed for safe, spirited driving far away from the risks present on the street. Our HPDE program has become the standard for the ‘open track’ industry and features multiple skill levels to ensure that you are able to enjoy a safe and fun day at the track.

Time Trial (TT)

In NASA Time Trial competition, anything goes, from prototype racecars and converted production cars to the current crop of electric cars. Weight-to-horsepower ratios make for fair classes and lots of creative freedom to build the car you want. NASA Time Trial provides a venue for spirited on-track competition with a high degree of safety and convenience.

Racing

The Regional sprint race series is offered as a fun, friendly environment with emphasis on good sportsmanship and clean competitive racing.

You must have a current medical on file with NASA as well as a 2024 Competition License to participate in any racing event. If you don’t have a valid license or approved medical, you will not be able to participate in any wheel to wheel racing. You can drive in any TT or HPDE session.

NASA Texas race weekends will include 3-4 races.

Competition Licensing School

Comp School is for drivers in HPDE4 or TT to get their NASA Provisional Racing License.

Comp school begins on Friday morning.

Friday will include classroom, on-track drills, and practice starts. Upon “passing” all of these items on Friday you will receive your Provisional License and begin racing THAT WEEKEND.

Drivers who wish to participate in comp school for the weekend must register for their Racing Class AND Comp License Eval.

Drivers MUST have the following prior to the weekend in order to participate:

  • Current NASA membership
  • Current NASA Medical
  • Current NASA Provisional License Application

***Cancellation and Refund Policy***

  • All refund or future event credit requests must be submitted via email to [email protected].
  • Entry fees cannot be transferred between NASA Regions.
  • Entry fees cannot be transferred to another driver.
  • Once the car hits the track all fees are non refundable.

HPDE/Time Trial/Racing:

Registration Fees are fully refundable, less a $50 processing fee, with at least 5 days notice prior to the start of the event. (Monday prior to the event at 11:59 PM). If within 5 days of the event, no refunds or credits will be available. If you choose to select an event credit vs. a refund you will not endure the $50 processing fee but you are still required to give 5 days notice.

The Toyota HPDE cancellation policy requires a minimum of 14-days notice before your scheduled event. If for any reason you are unable to attend, please send an email to [email protected] or call 844-477-8772. You will forfeit your complimentary track day if we do not hear from you 14-days prior to your event. Regretfully, we cannot make any exceptions to this policy. Please know that NASA events do not cancel due to rain.
